Sunday School
Our excellent staff of teachers assures that you and your children will enjoy a vibrant educational experience. The Pastor of Christian Education, Sunday School Superintendent, Assistant Superintendent, Youth Pastor, and Children's Department Leaders form a leadership team which is responsible for coordinating all activities within this program. Power House, our youth program at 11:00AM, focuses on life issues from a biblical perspective. Our children's program at 9:30AM uses engaging curriculum to reinforce parental teaching. We work hard to assure that our teaching throughout the Sunday School program is biblically and doctrinally sound.

ABFs
During both 9:30AM and 11:00AM we offer Adult Bible Fellowships, which we refer to as ABFs. They are groups for study and fellowship, which have been organized around the Sunday morning Sunday School hour. They have three distinguishing characteristics #1. Adult: they are designed for adults, from college age to seniors. #2. Bible: they major on teaching and application of the Word of God to daily living. #3. Fellowship: they major on relationship building, encouragement, caring, and love.

Children's Worship
Our Children's Worship ministry is characterized by the same standards described in our Sunday School program. Children's Worship runs concurrent with our 11:00AM Worship Service and includes preschoolers through grade five. This program provides worry free care and teaching for the young, while parents enjoy uplifting worship, spiritual renewal, and bible teaching.

AWANA Clubs
Awana Clubs International is an organization committed to helping local churches reach boys and girls for Jesus Christ. As a chartered member of Awana Clubs, Calvary offers the following programs: Cubbies (3-4 years old), Sparks (K-2nd grade), T&T for boys in girls in third through sixth grades, Junior Varsity (7th-8th grade) and AKX Varsity (9th22th grade). Nearly 200 children gather Wednesday evenings at 7:00PM to learn God's word and grow spiritually under the guidance of dedicated leaders.

Women's Ministry
The Christian Women's Fellowship is led by an excellent leadership team. This ministry exists for the purpose of educating, uplifting, encouraging, and promoting Christian fellowship among women. The primary aspects of this ministry currently include Precept Bible study, Retreats, and monthly activities.

Formen Ministry
The men of Calvary lead busy, hectic lives and our men's ministry (which we call Foremen Ministries) provides opportunities for fellowship, friendship, and prayer. Currently this ministry includes a monthly Men's Prayer Breakfast, a co-ed Christian Softball league, an annual Men's Retreat, seminars and periodic outreach events.

Senior Adult's Ministry
Our senior adults call themselves C.O.P.s(Calvary's Older People). They meet the first Wednesday of each month for Lunch at various locations in the area. They also meet for breakfast the third Saturday of each month at Old Country Buffet.

Music Ministry
Music and Worship is a vital part of Calvary. We have three choirs that participate in services throughout the year: Youth Choir, Children's Choir(k-5th grade), and Preschool Choir(4-5 years old). We also have Worship Teams, that aid in leading worship during services as well as a Praise and Worship band.

Missions
The people of Calvary Baptist Church are prayerfully and financially committed to pursuing the lost among the nations of the world. We recognize our responsibility as good stewards in presenting the gospel to an ever-changing world. To maximize the efforts of our local church, we intend to direct our missionary support towards the most unchurched areas of the globe and will focus our efforts on those countries that fall within the 10/40 window. Although this remains our primary objective, circumstances may require support to other cross-cultural missionary efforts in other localities.

C.H.A.T.
C.H.A.T. is Calvary's Homeschoolers Achieving Together. CHAT's purpose is to support Home School families by offering educational, social, and service opportunities within our church and community. CHAT's functions vary and can include: service projects, field trips, sharing of educational resources, mentoring, support, and fellowship.

Nursery/Toddler
This program targets the early childhood level. The goal of this ministry is to make sure that children are being cared for, comforted, and nurtured. Even though the little students in this ministry are not yet able to read or write it is the goal of this ministry to make sure that the love of Christ is exemplified in the time and attention given to each child by the ministry care givers.

Mommy & Me
Mommy & Me is a support program that focuses on mothers with young children. Each week Mothers and their children enjoy a time of fellowship with other mothers, while their children enjoy a time of supervised play with other children. One of the highlights is when the children come together to hear a story read by one of our ministry leaders, while sitting on Mommy's lap. Many times the group meets at the playground or water park. Even mommy deserves a day out from time to time.
